Telecommunicator
City of Marion – The Marion Police Department
is accepting applications for a full-time TELECOMMUNICATOR.
Requirements include a High School diploma and DCI Certification
(Division of Criminal Information System). Experience preferred in
communications or dispatching in a Law Enforcement environment.
Applicant must have the ability to assess people and situations,
remain calm under stressful conditions and perform several tasks
simultaneously. Pre-employment drug, fitness for duty and
background check required. Applications may be obtained at the
Marion Police Department at 270 S Main Street; Marion City Hall at
194 N Main St., Marion, NC 28752, or on-line @ www.marionpd.org.
